Rain on a wedding day means good luck - Aberdeen Wedding Photographer
I had my fingers crossed that the forecast was wrong, but unfortunately it was wasn't. It was tipping it down, but it didn't stop this lovely couple having a brilliant day. Rain on your wedding day is good luck because it signifies that your marriage will last. As you know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel!
I was delighted to be asked to capture Willie & Audrey's special day. You see the did it all in reverse, children, grandchildren and great grandkids too, then they decided it was time to get married after many decades together. It was a fabulous day at Cults Parish church and then out to the Falls of Feugh for their reception. A day truly surrounded by the love of their family and friends and all their grandchildren, which is all you can ask for. Many congratulations to you both!
