Out of the seasons, Spring is fabulous, and summer fantastic, but… Winter light absolutely ROCKS!

My passion for family shoots firmly belongs in outdoor sessions.  Unlimited space and magical woodland playgrounds. However when it comes to working outdoors the weather conditions don't lend themselves to family sessions week in week out in Aberdeenshire. On crisp mornings in January like this one, and everyone is suitable wrapped up, the results can be stunning.

The winter sun at this time of year is like shooting at sunset all day long, a total gift to working outdoors at this time of year.  Next add a family who love the woods and playing games, climbing trees and collecting sticks.  Capturing these family memories of childhood was my absolute pleasure.  Please get in touch to book your family adventures
